Pet Portraits
I’m at my happiest when I’m sitting at my illustration desk, immersed in capturing the fine details that build the expression, energy, and beauty of a beloved pet.
Before I pick up a pencil, I will consult with you regarding your reference photos, portrait size, timelines, framing, delivery, and other relevant matters.
Once we’re both happy to proceed, I will send you an invoice for a 50% deposit to secure your booking.
Pricing + Timelines
Commissioning a hand-drawn portrait of your pet is a loving investment in your memories.
My illustrations take a few days to complete as I build the layers of light, shade, colour, and texture to ensure your portrait is a one-of-a-kind, accurate homage to your pet.
Lead times vary according to my workload. As a general rule, at least 1 month is recommended for timely scheduling and a high-quality finish.
My pet portraits are drawn on high-quality, acid-free, archival paper. The portrait does not run to the edges of the page, allowing it to be comfortably placed and secured within a framing mat board.
I also provide a Certificate of Authenticity to verify the legitimacy of your portrait, enhancing its future value and integrity. This also confirms that the portrait was
hand-drawn and not generated by AI or other digital means.
I have listed the prices below for my standard single-animal, unframed, pet portraits. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
A5 (21 x 14.8cm) - AU $550
A4 (29.7 x 21cm) - AU $880
A3 (42x29.7cm) - AU $1760
Postage and handling charges will be quoted separately, as they vary according to your location and preferred shipping method. I am happy to deliver portraits (free of charge) to customers living within 10km of Adelaide’s CBD.
